In Flagstaff for a couple days. I think about blogging pretty often. So I figured it would be a good start to just write a sentence or two.
So I am at NAU. In a dorm.
What am I doing here? I am teaching at the Grand Canyon Celtic Arts Academy. Super exciting, right?
In any case. Dorms are creepy. I am not super sure I can see myself actually being asleep here....
More soon!

New Day
Hello Wednesday!!!
I have a performance to go to that is only me. Dancing and teaching. Fun stuff.
Mommy and me at 3:00, Private Lesson at 3:30, Predance at 4:00, Irish 3 at 5:00, then downtown for Irish 3-4. Busy day indeed.

Nothing New to Report
Yup. That's right.
I have been bad about blogging because things got crazy in March and never really slowed down. Also, things just don't really seem to change very much around the Henrich house. So, sometimes, there is just nothing to report...
But I promise to try and keep up with things in the future.
Here's some stuff to look forward to:
Tessa will be crowned a Valley of the Sun Princess this weekend (All the little girls that enter win. Its an intro to the Miss America program. Yup. She wants to be Miss America...for the moment)
Sven has promised to take Shannon on a fishing trip on Sunday. I DO hope there will be pictures!
Tessa is headed to Las Vegas without me to do a feis while I teach a WHOLE BUNCH of Girls Scouts about Irish Dance.
Tessa is starting to fundraise for the State Cinderella Pageant.
Oireachtas 2011 is starting to crank into gear.
Our dance studio's first recital is getting ready to go into production.
Summer Camp at the studio goes for 8 weeks this year!!!! Yup. That's right, 8 WEEKS.
Shannon may enter the world of social networking this weekend...then you will get to hear more straight from her.
Just a few things on my list :-)

Tired
Oh man. What a month March was!
St. Patrick's day went pretty well (actually, pretty darn well) and things are winding up for recital and summer camp now.
Tessa's schedule is pretty much non-stop. But its fun and that's what matters. She has a sneaky side, though, and it gets her in a lot of trouble. She is very clever. Now, if she would just use those brains for good instead of evil...
Shannon is being Shannon. Its hard to get her to do anything on a daily basis. I pretty much have to sit on top of her to get her to focus and finish her schoolwork and chores. I have a tough time being easy on her. As soon as I let up, she takes advantage. Its like the saying "Give her an inch and she'll take a mile"...except it FEELS more like the way Sven puts it; "Give her a finger and she'll take your arm."
Here is a mild example:
Shannon: "Can I have some goldfish crackers"
Sarah: "Yes"
Five minutes later, I find her in the dining room with a CEREAL BOWL FULL of crackers. Pretty much the rest of what was left.
I guess we have a different opinion of what "some" means.
Some things just never change.
So now that April is suddenly and mercilessly upon me, recital has begun to register on my panic radar.
Recital is going to be SO FANTASTIC.
If it happens...

Episodes Four and Five
Since I have taken so long to do this, I decided to post episodes 4 and 5 together.
Episode 4 is fine, Episode 5 leaves much to be desired. I struggled with making them do this one over again. Note Tessa fixing her hair in the camera :-) She does it a couple of times.
le sigh.
